Based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Auntie Jo’s Confections is a small-batch home bakery dedicated to serving families and community-based events.

What I did

Laid out a color scheme, designed the logo, created the website, developed the order form, set up the social media pages & outlined a rollout plan.

Who they are

A state chapter of a national organization, American Public Works Association of Wisconsin unites public works professionals and provides a forum where they can share their expertise and collaborate on ideas that enhance communities throughout the state.

What I do

The redesign & management of the quarterly newsletter, source & copyedit articles, write miscellaneous content.

Successful projects I supported.

Documentation

  • Developed & published guidance for a new phone software, currently in daily use by call center associates across the nation.

  • Updated 200+ documents in less than 2 weeks to support a new CRM platform.

  • Published a standard operating procedure that was the first of its kind to introduce testing procedures for a specific assay.

  • Published 20+ standard operating procedures to support a new assay in a diagnostic blood testing laboratory.

  • Wrote a 300+ page comprehensive plan spanning through 2050 for a small village in Milwaukee County.

Grants

Co-wrote to support a a shoreline restoration project on Milwaukee’s North Shore approved for $1.6 million in funding from FEMA.

Marketing

Wrote 400+ program-specific emails for prospective students for the Office of Graduate Studies at Minnesota State, Mankato.

UX Design

Overhauled the website for a small village in Milwaukee County to adhere with modern standards & public needs.
